You're a good man Chvymn99 ... yep, his memory probably is failing a bit, along with his body. Sometimes he feels he's more able to do the work of heating with wood... and sometimes he knows he can't. I know the feeling...... Today, he thinks he can heat with wood... again. Good for you to let him try.

Rant on, seems warranted. Now go enjoy a homebrew and some jerky and think about the good in life. :drunk:

Must be contagious. Hooked the plow on, did our drive, cleaned off wife's car, then did the neighbors drive. Hot cup of tea and a short snooze - life is good.

Did anyone that lives in the top 1/3 of NH get any snow from this last storm? I'm heading up in 2 weeks to hit the slopes but I'm skeptical.

Finished some shoveling. Changed out a light fixture for wife in newly painted bathroom she just finished. Let's just rest now. Shall we?

Put the four kids on to the project of making dinner. Good the their big sister is home!

Ugh. Watching the news. Some of these storms around the country. Terrible. Poor folks. :( Not only Tornadoes, but the flooding is bad in many areas and to get worse in some over the next few days.

Uh, yeah. We had the opposite kind of snow. 8.6" of wet heavvvvvvy snow. It was snowing so hard last night on my way home it was amazing. The last time I've seen snow flakes that big was either in the Rockies or Cascades.

This is what I had to deal with this am. No time to snow blow this am, that nighttime theraflu sure knocks you out. IMG_20151229_072155831.jpg

Here's my driveway before I busted through it. See the ash tree to the left of the mailbox? That's my driveway, complete with the city plow thank you bank.

My ariens 2 stage worked pretty well. I feel sorry for anyone with those 2 stroke single stagers.

Mid 70's was to early for this, but Yamaha made a bw 200 and iirc a 350 cc version as well. BW =Big wheel. These were far more popular than the Honda tw, and were made for more years as well as more madecand sold per year.

But yeah, there have been many iterations of off road and on road bikes with wider and smaller rims than the traditional 21" dirt bike size front wheel.

Good coffee this morning. Supposed to be the last day of work for this year, we'll see this morning. Boss is good and told him I'd work the eve if he really needed it.
Maybe, just maybe. I can pull a cork tonight whilst cleaning the workshop a touch. 99 is having her side of the family over on Saturday for a holiday party and the workshop has to pass inspection......patience.

A light snow coming down, adding to our 9 or so inches we received over the last few days. :)

Early to work so I can take off in a few hours for a road trip to Cheeseland for a friend's birthday party.
