just knock off 5105 spikes. I was too lazy to do another trial and error design like we did with the dual 6100 spikes so i took the short cut this time around and just used the 5105 design and modified the mounting tabs to fit the 6100.

Look what I got. I got to use it a little bit yesterday and I really think I like it. The 20 in bar just really highlights the torque and rpm over the 24"bar and I am very impressed with how it pulls the 24"
I really like the looks of these tsumara bars and on the 6100 it balances very nice being a touch nose light. I wanted to do a video but that will have to wait sense my camera is broken.

I don't care who you are those Tsumura bars are damm sexy! I see a 24" in the future for my 7910.

Let us know what you think of it after you use it awhile.

Will do. I had wanted to put it through the paces. But it is raining like crazy and that means I would have to put an extra coat of polish on it tonight. Lol
I bet your 7910 would be extra awesome with a 24" tsumara.

Nice combination! I too like a 20inch on a 60cc saw. They work well together. That Red Elm your cutting on will test it all out!

Well for Christmas I got a wrap handle for the 6100. fordf150 hooked it up and was very quick to get it to us. Thanks Nate!
I have not got a chance to use it yet with the new handle but hopefully soon. I haven't even got any photos of it wearing it yet. So for now I will share these photos with the Tsumara light and tough bar.

Well I finally got around to running the 6100 next to the old 056 super. I posted this in its own thread but thought I would add it here as well.
I got the wrap handle on the 6100 and got to spend an entire day felling and bucking firewood. Dropped and bucked 3 good size hedge, two large red oak and a big old white elm. I didn't feel the wrap handle was ever in my way other then to loosen the rear bar nut.
It did come in handy at times and will be staying on the 6100. Man you can cut 2 tons of wood per tank of fuel. Cutting with a friend and I was fueling once to his three.
The more I get to use this saw the happier I am that I bought it. I always look forward to running it. Enjoy and if you like it please give it a thumbs up. Thanks

20160227_180838.jpg Just a quick update. I love cutting wood with this saw. It is such a pleasure. No problems with it at all. Did have to adjust the tune but that is normal.
I did pull the muffler to have a peek at the piston.
I have been using the Dolmar synthetic 50:1 sense new and am pretty pleased.

Looks like your getting good protection with the Dolmar oil. The piston and exhaust port look nice and slick with oil.

Carl are you going to do a build thread for the 6100? I know I'd love to see one!

I added a tach/ hour meter to the 6100. I thought I had black wire ties but I guess I will have to pick some up. After that it should look like a fairly clean install.
Should make tuning a bit easier. I have a hard time telling between 4 stroking and Rev limiter.

A solid 10,100 rpm while noodling, not bad.
