Dude/chick gets stranded, snowed in, never knew each other, dated in H.S., someone lost their THONGS(WeldrDave's favorite pair) or their slippers(papadave's favorite pair), snow globe misplaced, reindeer missing....blah, blah, (milleo) blah- redonculous plots....

    But I (thankfully) digress!:D
Hope everyone had a Merry Merry Christmas

Good luck with that. I use a regular wireless keyboard and mouse with my laptop. Much easier for those handicapped with sausages for fingers.................

Just don't try to watch "train wreck" with your parents. There's lots of akward moments in that movie.

I hate the finger pad mouse thing on laptops, and I don't even have sausage fingers. Waaarless mouse for me.

I got tiny hands and can't stand the way they set up laptops. When I got my first laptop, I immediately got a mouse to go with it. Hu, thinking back, in 2002 I had only a laptop at work - I went out and bought a wired mouse so I could use the dang thing with some sort of efficiency.

I must have something wrong with my hand then... I prefer my finger over that of a mouse...

I had a boss that was a wiz at using the touch pad on a laptop. Me, I'm not coordinated so I can't even get the pointer to go to a large icon, much less get a program to open. I can't even imagine trying to go between two open windows!

Caffeine going down and just read through the big Reveal thread. A good video of the man who started this place receiving a gift. Cool. Now for a little FHC surfing, hanging with the family, and catching up on some sleep at some point.

On a laptop? I was a big fan of the track point (the little nub in the middle of the keyboard) like all of the IBM machines had back in the day.

I liked that IBM nub. I love the touchscreen on phones and tablets. I just don't like the disjointed touchpad on most notebooks. A touchscreen on a notebook would be perfect, making it like a tablet. I just haven't had one of those new notebooks yet.

I think we are getting close to the finished product here. I just finished running a cable into this room so we have everything here in the family room. Didn't have channels before. They just played games and watched movies. This will be nice when winter finally hits. The new TV just fit. It was even closer than I thought. The three kids got one new game. Looks like oak. Water is 8 lbs a gallon. 8x55= 440 lbs.

I've seen commercially made crapboard aquarium stands that are flimsy work just fine.

That sturdy cabinet will hold up just fine:)
