    Just walked a mile or so around the house with my 3 year old and pup. We fed the horse some alfalfa sprigs...fed the dairy cow some grass...saw a squirrel eating a hedge apple....dog chased said squirel. Time for lunch.

    From the town of WaterGap, parked and hiked a ways up a fire Rd (the AT) to finally where it turned onto a more scenic area.

    We beat the rain, didn't start until after the trail on the drive home. Poss Tstorms tonight with rain, heavy at times. Was cooking on the way up the mountain.

    Looks really nice. I've only done the trail on the other side of the Water Gap. I've never hiked the PA side.

    Yup..... she certainly enjoys leading, until there is a fork in the trail. She was pooped after, and slept the rest of the night.

    Those that organized the Appalachian Trail had a gnack for beauty. Best part of the AT is in N.H. on the franconia ridge. Absolute beauty!
