    Yea thats a pretty common vid. And a dozen others of those v8 saws. I didnt even watch it but recognize the scene , even with the play logo over the screen on TT.

    This GTG that Gary and I are talking about was great for several reasons.

    No saw racing. Lots of cool old saws, including two man saws. Bunches of good food, good friends, and good fellowship.

    And Ernie had a sawmill that guys could play with. I have since sold him a Detroit 4-71 power unit that now runs it instead of the IH tractor.

    I've seen this vid a few times, but the wheels in my head just started turning... If the lakes freeze this year, and I can find a deal on an old metal sled.... Stay tuned lol.

    The sled/bar guard is a good idea. The saw should be easily removable though to cut ice cubes for adult beverages after the race!:drunk::cheers:
