Part one of two. Bread peel made from a 5/4 cherry plank. It has some defects, but it is utilitarian and will be put to use. It is going to our good friend and neighbor who makes a bit of bread.

The finish is natural melted beeswax and olive oil that is hand rubbed. It just needs a rawhide loop through the handle.

Part two. I made this device holder from cherry burl and forged some rod to shape. It is finished in 4 coats of shellac. It can be positioned almost vertical if you are sitting at a desk, or almost horizontal if standing at a counter reading an online recipe.

This is going next door too.

Some cutting boards for the ladies of my life - walnut + red maple. The walnut was from a tree that grew at my sister's house, and the maple was grown at mine. First real project from the lumber I've made.

Overnight bath in mineral oil, and then waxed with Clarks Cutting Board Finish.

Just the edge guide with the plunge router base. For the hand holds, I clamped 2 of them together, and then clamped that whole assembly down to my table.

Was at my daughter's house yesterday snapped a pic of this , I made 4 of them 2,3 years ago for gifts .
Hard to tell in the pic but the backing is unbreakable mirror ,put a lot of time into those buggers, but they turned out great
