Hi Dex, I just wanted to let you know the 2253 arrive save and sound today. Bye the way, the package was beautifully padded and wrapped up like a Christmas gift. I felt like little kid on Christmas morning wishing for a Red Ryder bb rifle, in this case it was a Jonsered 2253. Wow..... I like the red and black colors, I had to salute the 2253..... lol.
This Jonsered is saying something to me......... It said something like Cuddle Lane..........Cuddle Lane.... Thanks again.

I think the 550xp will be headed to Cuddle lane as well (Cuddle Lane = Cottle Lane for those who are familiar) :)

Glad you like Jack! I love this 550 and can't Thank you enough! !

Yep... I am cheap (I just bought a 441 C-M a couple days prior). Sorry. I even tried to low ball Terry..
He sticks to his guns!! Terry, I will be contacting you about 2 bars soon. (Oh and the 2253 was shipped with 3/8" instead of .325. Thanks again.)

Had I known you were gonna be a Husq dealer, I would have likely waited. But I impulse buy (not a good trait), but it still worked out for both of us.

I was very impressed with Spike60's 372XP and a 562XP (can't remember who owned that one.....) that Terry ported. I think he speaks Swedish.....

Terry, I would have loved to see this 2253 to have been ported before Dex and I made the trade. Mastermind gave me a disease. I think he calls it something like this: PSA - Ported Saw Addiction..... Randy, is this correct?
We all made out fine in this trade. Good friends, good sawing, good community.......

The 372 you ran (and 550) were from Greyfox (or ironworker here). Or at least one of the 372's was Greyfox's. Don't know how many you ran.

I know the 372 was Spike's. The 562 very well may have been GreyFox's. Also got my hands on one of Randy's 390XPs. Yessir, that there was a saw!

Thanks Dex and Mr MasterMech. I have been reading threads on this forum and others, but have always been quiet. I normally don't post. When I will a little boy, my mom taught me to listen and you will learn from others who are wiser than you. I use that advise to this day. You guys are getting me jealous when I read about these articles on Stihl MS441 C-M and MS460. I like the wrap option on these saws, with the big spikes with chain roller, high output oilers for larger bars, etc.
It is like big block chevy motor vs small block motors. Interesting subjects........
Something like your avatar picture that you have Mr MasterMech, it is a gear drive. Am I right?

Yup. Gen V Chevy Big-Block, 454 cu in, with a Summit gear drive (the "quiet" version). Don't worry, it's not in anything exciting, just my old '89 C3500 pickup. But it will bury the speedo up the local mountainside loaded to the max rating with firewood. Maybe it is kinda exciting..... A couple shots of the old girl doing what she does best.

I noticed that he sold the 372 (seen it in the Trading Post), and knew he was gonna be getting something else :) That was a very nice 372xp.
