Yeah, the regular stuff is only at the liquor store. The up side to that is there are more liquor stores in a decent sized town than there are in all of NH

Getting ready for another GULLY WASHER here in NW Oregon today.

More heavy rain and some wind too.

The weather pundits were ranting all about the Big El nino this winter with warm and dry conditions for the NW

    Hmmmmm.

Seems ma nature has other plans.
We are getting hosed with copious amounts of rain and the snow is piling up in the mountains by the metric buttload.

We have not had any snow here at the ranch yet (at least none that stuck) but its been just raw out, with temps in the mid 30's F yesterday all day and very damp.

We started unloading the last dumpster full of shells yesterday afternoon and will finish later today hopefully.

Will be glad when this stuff is all stored.

Doing this much all at once sucks.

Used to doing it three times from October to late February, not all in 2 weeks

Gotta make some changes in the storage area before next winter.

    Ahhhh yessss, fun stuff.

You can't be choosy when it drops on your lap. I would prefer all done at once than spread out, this way you know you got it. Beats worrying if you gonna get some, but then again you're way ahead on your accumulation of fuel:cheers:

Snowy, if it stores well and you have the room might as well get it and not worry about weather conditions later on. I'm about to fill up the oil tank, got to contribute my part to being warm this winter. I have 8.6 tons of pellets in the garage. Some of the big boxes around here are going to take a bath if they don't do something about the pellet supply.

I had two winters of spoiled and I loved not having to do any scraping ice or brushing off snow. Having to replace the Jeep in a hurry and getting the Explorer means no using the garage now - the SUV won't fit :(. I need to win Lotto so I can build me a detached garage ;)
