But hey I'm in the right place. Ive got about 14 cord split and stacked. Scored this nice black locust this past weekend. Three trailer loads, I figure about 3.5 cords. Trailer is 7 x 16. The base of the tree was 39 inches across. It took out 2 10 inch cherry and a 14 inch locust coming down.
Of course. The work was done, what better way to take a break. It was a bells expedition stout. After I drank it I realized it was 10.5 %. It kicked my butt. Best part was the guy paid me to take the wood.
Weird around here, there are mostly yuppies that don't have a clue. This is the second large tree I got paid for this year. It helps fund my CAD.
Yep, you got a problem alright! Nice looking wood for sure. Gotta love that Locust.. Take a pic of the stacks when your done.
Really nice load of wood. I do have a guy here that does a tree service and will load up my trailer for me with his tractor but I have never had anybody pay me to take away wood though. That is great.
Hold on here! You claim to suffer from the problem of hording firewood? You can't use those words together. That's like saying " military intelligence " the words are mutually exclusive of each other. One word can't be used in a context to describe the other!
The horse farm next to me pays me to cut trees, mostly dead ash, and gives me all the wood. Sometimes the Wood Gods smile upon us.
