After lunch today I went out to get some locust that ice wanting to get for over a year. Loaded the trailer and their is at least that much locust still down over there to get. Trailer filled is just under 2 cord, with these being all rounds it should end up being right at 2 cord when it's split.

After I got that dropped off at my land Jred85 came over and we took down a big dead elm in my yard and got that all cut up and loaded into the trailer. Headed out now to drop that off at his house.

I'm tired but it was a good day, I'm especially glad that Jred85 got some more firewood. He just got a new wood furnace and needs to get enough dry stuff to get through the year.

Yeah, it looks like some of that elm is decently dry already.

That's at least a bit to burn. Just find a few more dead standing elm and he'll be even better off.

It really makes hauling wood a lot easier, I can get way more in there then my truck and unloading is quick and easy.
