While sitting here at the computer we've been watching 8 deer in the yard. They do seem restless, probably because of the big rain not far from us. Also we had some rain and thunder earlier today. Fog moved in but has cleared out. Still, we love seeing the deer here. It is still muzzleloading deer season here but they don't seem to be unusually stressed this fall like they have been the last few years.
Shotgun week just ended here yesterday. The deer are all sorts of spooked now. One the cold weather hits next week they should be in larger groups and easier to pattern.
