    Tis the season...for cookies !!!

My MIL always makes Peanut Butter Cookies for me at Christmas. They are definitely my favorite.
Mrs. TD just made some too, eating them as I type... :dex:

So, what's your favorite cookie? Or fudge? or chocolate covered peanuts?

Chocolate chip cookies are great. Sugar cookies are normal here at Christmas and I really love the church window cookies!

Along with the "conventional" cookies (oatmeal, choc chip, peanut butter, etc) you can't forget buckeyes or 7 layer bars! Errrr- 7 layer cookies?

Actually, I love choc. chip cookies, but oatmeal raisin is right up there.
I used to tell the kids I was the real cookie monster.

I really love them all. I used to get cookies from a friend who grew up in Norway. She made butter cookies, cookies with jam on top, almonds on top, ... All authentic traditional cookies, they were amazing.

My SIL made these bacon-topped congo bars earlier this summer. I had to put a pic up for ya. Oh, looks like it fell into that slightly melted chocolate on that hot day.

Another vote for oatmeal raisin. Which stinks, because nobody seems to think that's a holiday cookie, so I rarely see them this time of year!

They are good. Dark chocolate, marshmallows, coconuts. Difficult to stop eating them...

Called pretzel candy in this house, melt the white chocolate, throw in the pretzel sticks that have been snapped in half, add in some crushed walnuts, mix to coat and dollop out onto wax paper to cool and harden. No big deal, but this stuff is wicked addictive, something about the smooth yet crunchy texture, sweet, salty, and savory with a little bit of bitter from the walnuts.
