Me thinks you need to sew the two beds together so they can snuggle together but still have room to stretch out if they want.

Funny, I have a smaller version of that exact same bed, exact same color sitting on a chair for one of my cats to use.

Vet just left. Blondie physical did not show anything major, could use a dental, she peed at 6 am, WWW forgot the pan..... Vet left me some of her dipsticks, so I will email her when I get urine again. Both got annuals shots and rabies. Blackie's physical is good, couple fatty lumps and poss a dental. She said the stick I posted here was a couple minutes too old to be accurate, but was glad the glucose was normal.

Almost $400 :bug:, no competition for home visit vets here. WWW might be taking them in next year instead home visit after I tell him the cost......

Big money, but worth it. Keep us posted on the stick sample. I know dental can contribute to heart and other health problems.

She said February is National Dental month, her clinic is running 10% off if anyone wants to inquire at their clinic:) Blondie will get hers in Feb, Blackie likely later in the year.

That is some costly immunizations. No blood test? Here is some things to think about. Not meaning to be critical of your vet. After all, I wasn't there. Has to be a reason why Blondie was having problems. I don't think a dip stick is diagnostic enough for anything conclusive. Usually, it is an indication to do further testing. To me, a BMP and CBC is indicated. I would never trust a dip stick to diagnose diabetes. Without doing a straight cath on the dog, any sample you get is compromised. I have seen so many bad labs from urine that people were treated for when they never had a systemic infection. Just some local colonization of bacteria or other contamination. Hope Blondie is getting better. Her system could be healing itself.

No doubt!! Colorado was like $150-$200.....I used pay $400 for 4 dogs and 1 cat for that.

Thank You for the kind words and your advice friend!!No offense taken by any means!!, I lost our long time vet when we moved to WY, this is the first visit since then, and a brand new vet for us (as well as young and recently graduated).

I apologize that I have all of you worried, she is not down and out by any means, trust me, if she got bad, she would be in town for an emergency visit:)

I think she might and really hope so too. I am also hopeful that going back to her previous food is helping, and that she is infact healing herself.

Vet Called!! After history and physical today etc, vet thinks it must have been the new food I put them on. I found a killer deal on a very popular super duper all natural, organic, grain free kibble. Though I acclimated them over several days, it still threw her system off. Too bad I bought 2 each 40# bags, it will take Blackie forever to eat them up, glad the bag is resealable  . Blondie has been on her previous brand food for several days now, so savemoney , like you said, it appears she is getting back to normal. The one last abnormal on the dipstick (specific gravity larry) should go away she thinks.

Going to cancel my S&S at amazon now........:emb:

I perked up at that - the same male dog that had hormone issues causing incontinence from muscle slackness and the need to empty his bladder when it wasn't even close to full, was also sensitive to different foods. He got really bad on one food, and when I went back to his regular food, he got much better.

That is great - hope she gets fully back to normal soon!

Thanks!! It is a very high grade food, and grain free should prevent Blackie from his food allergies and protect Blondie from having her chronic ear infection flaring...... Oh well, lesson learned, no worse for the wear:)

    Done.

I have been feeding my dogs 4health from TSC. [IMG] They have done really well with this. About three months ago, I upgraded to their better grade. It has five fewer pounds for the same price as the first one. [IMG]What I noticed right off was that my older male dog stopped gassing us out every night. I swear his farts were going to cause the wall paint to peel. But now, the gas is much less. It is all about feeding a food that agrees with your dog. My daughters have two and three dogs each. They too are feeding this with good results. I wanted them to eat Blue but they objected. About $37.99 for a large bag. I think it is 30 pounds. There is a sale on it now for $32.99 with free shipping until the 17th.

This is our dear, dear, dear Rosebud, The kindest dog we've ever known. She's developed swollen lymph nodes in her neck over the last couple of months. I'm very concerned that it is lymphoma and not just infection. She's perfectly fine otherwise, so I plan to take her to the vet sometime this week. Please think good thoughts for her. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body and she deserves only the best that life has for her.

Rosebud will be in my thoughts. Please be sure to follow through and post. Now I have another one to worry about!:hair:
Think back and review anything added to her routine. I.E flee rx, change in meds or exposures to other chemicals. I have some flee stuff raise hell for a while. Feeding any imported snacks? (imported snacks are not to be trusted at all, except from Canada)
