Anyone watch "The Voice" ? I like the first few weeks, then the battles seem to get boring so I sorta tune out. And last night.. I didn't watch but I heard someone stole the show. Yup, it was Pat- aka Jordan Smith. I was rooting for this guy from the get-go and , damm. He nailed that song. Freddie Mercury would have been very proud of that performance. Seems that the contest now is who comes in 2nd. Thoughts?
We watch it on occasion, and that dude was incredible from day one. Perfect example of what the show intended as looking at him is a bit perplexing, but the kid can sing. I'll have to check out the performance. I don't watch much TV, but probably have seen a bit of every season of that show. I like good music, and impressive unknown singers are kinda cool.
Pretty good except a few vocal rewrites to replace tricks he couldn't do with other tricks he could. Also, weaker falsetto than Farrokh. But all that is expected when people in these talent shows try to perform Queen songs.
