That would be awesome, but it is definitely beyond my budget.

 

Yep a pretty cool toy is correct. But if I was stupid with money what the heck. I would think though that it is a tool more for a business and not a firewood nut.

 

Cool toy for a guy selling lots of firewood, posts and poles, or just haul for othet people. I think in alot of states you could stay off the dot radar screen with a setup like that.

 

That does not seem like a bad deal when you look at what a dump trailer or just a heavy duty trailer costs!!!

 

If I had that I would be more into the side biz

 

That's actually good here next door they try to tow overweight trailers with half tons to avoid numbers and you watch truck flex over frost heaves

but that would be pulled for over weight regardless

 

I dont think you need DOT numbers around here to toe that if it is legetimilty for personal use.

We dont have to tag or title trailers in this state unless there for business. Personal trailers , farm trailers and trailers under like 16ft dont need tags so that basically means all trailers but biz DONT need tags. I do think you have to tag travel trailers like campers though. Almost all those I see have tags.

I own 4 trailers NONE have tags or title and are perfectly legal that way.

 

same except for farm within 50 miles of farm orange triangle only. need me a farm license..

 

The difference in the land of the taxed and over regulated and a more lax southern state .

I know because I looked up the trailer dogs here in the state when I got the larger 16ft car hauler and read them right off the state webpage. I already knew boats didnt need them as I have two and use to have one before these two trailers boats.

 

Most of the farms do have the low boys or whatever they have with a farm tag on them but I think that is more to keep transport police off them. They won't mess with a farm truck usually.

 

That is nice. But you need to move a good number of logs to pay for that.

 

Darn clem that alone save me couple hundred a year..

 

What no trailer tags and registration?

 

all trailers regardless of size need plates 24 dollars a year.. trailer over 1000 lbs empty is bigger plate and I think 36 dollars.. someone else might correct that prices are going up.. bigger plate needs inspection which is 15. a 5 by 10.... boat trailer.. snowmobiles, yeah 200 easy that's just trailer not stuff on them... easy 200.... why I need to register any boat with a motor to DMV so a bloody kayak i put trolling motor on needs a number ....gotta stop before I go political

 

We have to title out boards and boats and have numbers on the boat if its gas. I am talking trailers. Our boat numbers last like 5 years

 

looked it up trailers less 1500 lb .. 24 dollars year.. over 49.. per year per trailer that plates on back of trailer over 1500 lbs also require inspection sticker of 15.. so boat trailer, wood trailer, snowmobile trailer and 3 yard dump trailer is 216 a year.. What I pay..
