Figured everyone had projects for the future . Ones that may or may not be gotten to . I wanna hear what kind you guys and gals have ! Me...I have too many I think ! One of em is...my grandfathers old John Deere JD300....about a 1969 i think...with a Harlo forklift conversion. Not many of these made...and even less around these days It's been around since new...and I've seen it everyday that I can remember ! Needs lots of stuff these days...since its sat unused for 15-20 years...skid steer replaced this Somehow I'd feel better with it all restored. To that I say..."maybe someday" Not to high on my priority list...but someday..hopefully it will be
Saving up to do our kitchen which will also include new hardwood flooring and trim in the living room and hall. Our house will be pretty much up to date after that.
Good thread 'Fuzz Getting more than 3 years ahead! Adding to the house(upwards or out off the back), finishing the basement. Finishing college..... Is there enough time for any of it?
Garage at the cottage-may happen this summer. Heck, basement at the cottage. It would be nice not to haul drinking water-might as well add a well at the cottage. Hoping that the neighbors at the cottage(loud, drunk, inconsiderate ones) grow up or dry up. [Is that bad?] Would also like to get somewhat of a wood shop started....
Kitchen/bathroom remodel, build a micro off grid cabin and to make the perfect peanut butter and honey sandwich...so many variables, which bread, creamy or crunchy, what ratio of peanut butter to honey, etc....mind boggling!
Finishing build a bed for us. I bought the wood 5+ years ago, got most of it processed 4 square and cut to lengths and even started some of the joinery. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure why I shouldn't be finishing it up right now. Probably about a week's worth of work left.
House remodeling is all done. Now I need to remodel me! Loose a ton of weight and get my knee replaced so I can walk and not be in pain.
My top 3 some day jobs...1 buy a small chunk of land by a creek lake or river. Move an old grainary I have permission to use on to the property. Turn it into my antisocial cabin in the middle of nowhere fortress of solitude. 2 build a new big garage with room for my wood working projects. 3 win the lotto so I can afford to do # 1&2.
