    Should have taken a pic, but I just loaded a piece that looked very similar to the bottom one in this pic of yours.
    Pretty sure it was Maple.
    Those first 3 pics are kinda gnarly.

    I gotta get a picture of a piece of white pine, full of knots and resin, I put through the splitter at least five times and still couldn't get the pieces apart without a sharp hatchet. I got disgusted with it and tossed it aside, couldn't see fit to put it on the stack for "normal" firewood.

    Looks like what I have been dealing with. It is all heat the hard part is finding a good way to let it season without messing up the pretty stacks. Thanks for sharing!
