Thank you for the Highly Recommend.... Our blend contribution is a very clean Hard Wood Chip that we mill and dry on site- The Hard Wood Chip Gets blended in with the Soft Wood Chip early on in the process (prior to drying and milling) to create a "homogenized" blend therefore producing a high quality pellet. The sheen is the pine as it gets extruded through the die.
i'm thinking of bring in a load or two of the blend, hoping that there is some interest. shipping costs from VA push the price up some. probably into the $290 region
Just brought in both the EasyBlaze Blend and the Premium. Should have them in stock next week. I'd like to compare them in my stove as well.
Hey everyone I'm new to the EasyBlaze, never tried them but they are much cheaper than some of the others out there, that I'm considering purchasing. Any thoughts on how these will hold up for the winter months? We've gotten by this mild winter with leftovers and a few bags here and there. Looking for something that will keep me warm during the winter months - not sure if these will or if they are a better shoulder pellet.. I apologize in advance for my ignorance on all these pellets. It's a lot to learn Obviously, I could go with some LaCretes or more expensive pellets and I know I would be ok - but I'm seeing these for under $300, so, obviously, that is appealing to my pocketbook We have a Harman p61a that is our main stove and an old clunky Kozi for the backup in the really cold part of the winter. Relying on Oil as backup (or, if pellets are too expensive and prices drop, then I'll be having pellets as backup) We were happy with the somerset but in the dead of that brutal winter last year, would have likes something a little bit hotter. Thanks in advance!
What's the price on the Easy Blaze and LaCrete's? Both EB's (Softie and blend) were very good for me but the price needs to be right.
right now, with a quick search, I'm seeing EZ Blaze Premium at BT for $295 and LaCretes for $305. Not sure if they deliver to me - I sent a message asking. I can also gets the EZ Blaze Blend for $280 (plus delivery). I've seen awesome reviews of the LaCretes but for $280, if it will keep me warm mid-jan/feb, I'll go with the EZ Blaze Blend. What do you think? I see you have some 'sets in your stash (what I've used for the past 2 years) and LaCretes. I'm jealous
If it's a toss up between the EB softies and LaCrete's I'd go LaCrete. For $280 for the EB blends you can't go wrong with those either. I found almost no difference between the EB blend and softies. Can you grab a few bags to try?
That's the going price for blend down this way at a few different dealers , I agree with Steve I'd go with a ton of the Crete's and than what ever else you need in the blend and you should be fine that p 61 will eat whatever you feed it , the Kozi maybe more picky ,both are really good pellets IMO.
I kinda was assuming that the p61 will eat anything - you are right, the kozi is definitely more picky! I wasn't sure if the blend would be enough for the deep freeze of winter - but it sounds like they are at least as good as the somersets and we got through with them, so any of these three will be pretty good options. I have some other possibilities, but it's getting to be info overload (again) Thank you both for the input! I guess the next step is to see if I can delivery out to me - if not, I'll have to formulate plan B before it gets any colder!
I have used both and EasyBlaze are a very good pellet , clean and give off good heat but have been inconsistent as far as size and color . I would go with Lacrete hands down very hot , very clean and consistent in size and color .
Yeah... it "will" eat about anything. But.... That doesn't mean you will get the same performance out of anything you throw into it.. I can eat broccoli. But I'd really, rather eat a good steak. Dan (not sayin' any of your choices are broccoli... just commenting on the "eats anything"..)
Hi, They delivered to West Haven. See no reason why not to danbury area. Have had 2 or 3 years of delivery from BT. Mike
