Stopped at a Stihl dealer today and the owners wife was talking about the closing next year, it got me thinking if your dealer was closing and you could get one thing, not a saw, but some momento, or something from your man cave, etc what would it be?
Look around and see what's there for signage. Those signs and counter displays are $$ and hard to find.
The sign was made by me (decals from a member here), but if they have one of these old boxes for the concrete/steel cutting saws! Or a rack, or a sign like posted above!
Yep - signs would be great - thermometers, clocks, etc. All of this stuff would be great for the man cave! Cheers!
The dealer I go to that closed back in May has one of these boxes on the shelf. He told me 250 and I can take it home. I passed on it as I really didn't need it that bad.
Mine was a CL buy.. For $250 I wouldn't be a buyer either, but I talked the guy from $75, down to $50. I had to drive about an hour to Sandusky from my place. But it was worth it in the end. It's in really good shape for its age and intended use.
This one is brand new been sitting on the shelf in his shop for the 3 years I've been going down there. I'm thinking I may call him tomorrow and see if he is around tomorrow. I need some things
Id be trying to figure a way to get my dealers end mill into my suburban. Way more useful than a sign.
