I doubt that the screen would be allowed on national forest land. They do check the size.

I bet it does run better though being opened up.

It ran very strong there is a difference, I didn't modify the inside baffle assembly but did add the screen and widen the exit port. I was very happy when I MM my MS 362C and this didn't let me down either, I big shout out to moparmyway for the screen !! and Mag I don't cut on national land just my local area, I did keep the stock screen just in case !!

thanks, I ran a little more than three tanks yesterday and was extremely happy, I know some don't like the Mtronics but I love the way these things start and run.

I thought about it but didn't know if I would lose any torque. Looking at A few muff mods they left it.

I'd take a small piece. For the front of this guy..

I'm not at home but it's a little over an inch wide and 3/4" tall.

Let me know what I owe you buddy :)

If you could find a way to mount the screen on the front, a hole similar to the one in my pic above would be perfect.

If you cut dry dead wood watch setting the bark on fire on longer cuts.

Even my husky or stihl will get the bark hot and I dont even have it modded like that..but Yea that one will smoke it...literally
Especially in big wood with long cuts where you have you have the dogs hooked and pivot off the same soot for a good while

I did think of that Dex but was afraid of losing the back pressure, expanding the exhaust port all the way made a big difference and was much loader, my sold 044 liked a open can but had a few saws that were experiential.
