I picked up the stove today. Still have much to do before I will be burning wood but each step gets me closer.
Well! That's awesome, girl! Can't wait to see a fire behind the glass, Kimberly! You're on track now....
Yes, I have some steel toed boots; I wear them when cutting firewood and I did drop a piece of wood on my foot once
SAWeet Kimberly! Cant wait for the pics to continue! Ill bet your getting pretty pumped........ wont be long now!
Congrats! Very happy for you Kimberly! I'm sure you're excited to have that stove. Even though it's a ways off I can't wait to see the first fire burnin' in it! Keep us up to date with pic's as you progress, please!
I dropped a piece of locust on my toe last year. It took about six months for the black spot under the toenail to grow out.
Kimberly, trust me, you'll be ecstatic when you finally get that stove fired up. I just got my insert in last weekend, into the fire place that I had used for 7 years.
At this point all I have manged to do is to get the thimble installed. The wood stove has issues that I am unsure of. It may be better to try and sell that stove and get an Englander NC-30. See this thread CFM Corporation Stove | Firewood Hoarders Club I am trying to see if I can find a way. Today I am going to see if I can get the chimney brackets mounted.
