Welcome Duckman! Nice looking stacks you have there... and lots of it too...

The woods beyond the stacks looks pretty thick with good sized trees. With that selection of wood you have, are you cutting downed trees or storm damaged trees or dropping live ones?

Down or dead standing comes first on my place. Now if somebody wants me to come cut a live white oak I'll be dang if I turn them down:D

Hey Rebel...just what did you get for that old 17 anyway?
I picked up a drolet el-dorado "kicker stove" for the basement and I'm thinking that the 17 would have been too small. But you always wonder, you know?
I paid $225 for the el dorado at 2-3 years old, the seller said it wouldn't heat enough......right! I looked around the yard for his wood stacks and did not see a single stack of wood! Yeah, I'll buy it. I remember he said he was moving up to a large Napoleon (don't know what model) that the dealer said would drive him out of his house with heat! I mentioned once that the wood has to be dried for 2-3 years before the stove will perform properly but it went over like a lead blimp.

    OK...Here's your money.

Haha there's a sucker born every second. I think I got 400 for the 17. Only used it one winter or so though. I love the 13 but of course I wish it would burn a few more hours. We ain't ever satisfied:D
