Scored a nice deal on some used holsters. Iwb crossbreeds for the kahr pm9 and the glock 23. I still have to take the the crimson trace light off the 23, so she's not in the pic. I'm loving the pm9 in a t shirt. The g23, well....a bit harder to conceal but much easier on the draw. Wintertime helps hide the beast.
I use a Remora holster to carry my .45 daily. They stick nice in any position you want to use them in; front of waist, back, cross draw, etc. They work for LH and RH. Remora Product Information
Love my CrossBreeds, Standard cut for me, haven't tried the combat cut yet. this reminds me. I need to place an order....lol
Glock 23 is what is issued at work. I like @ OP. Tried these between hunting yesterday. So glad dad got rid of that keltec p11 9. I like keltec guns but hated that trigger pull on p11. Shot glock 9mm single stack. sweet gun for cc. Bro's glock 43 had some mods to it though. GLOCK 43 | G43 | 9mm Pistol | GLOCK USA But I still like dad's new airlight s&w 637 38sp +p better as I am a revolver liker. Product: Model 637
Love my CrossBreeds too.... Their a bit squeaky breaking in, but after a bit they form and move with the body nicely...
I shot my FIL's 637 a few weeks ago and really liked it. I have a 337, which has the titanium cylinder. While it's a dream to carry, it's pretty snappy at the same time so range time isn't that fun after more than a few cylinders. The regular steel cylinder seems to add enough weight to tame it enough that I could go through a few boxes of .38sp and still feel good. As soon as I get the funds I want to find either a 642 or 442 since I'm always worried that hammer spur will snag on something.
We did alot of shooting next day. Mine is all metal 2" 38 and and noticed the difference shooting it compared to the light weight of dads. Dad shot better with my heavier gun. My grip is also bigger and longer by pachmayr. His grips shorter and oem and did have more bucking in hand. I left him some of my 125gr hornaday xtp handloads. Plus we shot some Semi WC handloads of mine.
An all steel J-frame is on my wish list as well. My wife has shown and interest in getting her concealed carry license, and I think she'd do a lot better practicing (or possibly even carrying) a steel snubbie over the Airweights.
I have a taurus model 85 air weight. Its a j frame copy. It has the hammer and looks like that gun you linked to cut. With 38+p it does have some kick to it. There light and easy to carry but cause of the cylinder I know I have it on. My other him is a taurus 738, .380 so its really like you dont have something on.
