Hi all. We were blessed to have company for a couple days so did not get on the forum. Just don't want anyone thinking something was wrong.

In addition, we actually got a little wood cut. Oak too! Picture to come later; maybe tomorrow or Wednesday. Have a busy day coming up tomorrow not sure when I'll get it done.

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving and a good long weekend.

    Leftovers
Thanksgiving has been over at least a week or two,
But we’re still all eating turkey, turkey salad, turkey stew,
Turkey puffs and turkey pudding, turkey patties, turkey pies,
Turkey bisque and turkey burgers, turkey fritters, turkey fries.

For lunch our mother made us turkey slices on a stick,
There’ll be turkey tarts for supper, all this turkey makes me sick.
For tomorrow she’s preparing turkey dumplings stuffed with peas,
Oh I never thought I’d say this, “Mother! No more turkey...Please!”

Just think - if the Indians had given the Pilgrim fathers a donkey instead of a turkey, we all would have had a piece of..... um,...donkey for thanksgiving!

Was just about ready to send out the search party :)

You have some good wood cutting weather & temps for a few days later this week
Make hay when the sunshines & cut firewood when it's cool & dry outside :)

Some of those left overs made with donkey or azz wouldn't sound too appealing. like azz puffs or azz pudding I guess you get the point I am glad they didn't give them Donkey as well. Made me laugh,:D

Good to see your back Dennis. And safe and sound! And great that I'm not eating Azz with gravy on top! I like Turkey with dressing and gravy all over the top!

Well, it is supposed to be a bit wet for a couple days and we have some other things going on but I do plan on getting some more done if at all possible. Actually I did not cut that much as the company really wanted to run the saw. I wasn't sure but he did just fine and then he didn't want to quit even to go hunting! He was a big help and both of us ended up a bit sore. I have another load to haul out and when I do that I'll get pictures.
