Make a visit to your local HD and/or Lowes. They get cabinets returned with small blemishes or broken corners, etc.( take a guess why I know about those ) Might find something you can use fairly cheap.

That's a good idea too. I got a base cabinet from L*wes last year marked down from $127 to $25 (yes, I just looked up the picture I took of the price reduction tag- pretty sad hu? :emb:). It was unfinished wood, but I specialize in staining and finishing stuff like that (specialize = I like to do that best, and I'm pretty decent at it too). It had a small crack on one side - no big deal to me.

I've also gotten great deals on CL - the best was a $200 spice drawer base cabinet, never used for $20. It was in original box, with a shipping label dated 2012. Special order that didn't fit where they wanted it. Probably won't run into that kind of thing again. Thanks for reminding me about the BBS though, I will have to take a look!

We had oil here at the ranch for years, and when we built this new house back in 93 I said NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

The house has electric heat (never been used) with AC for summer.

4 pellet stoves in the house.

3 upstairs and one down in the apartment below.

If I was doing it again I would install a heat pump along with the pellet stoves.

Can't build without a central heat system, at least not get it approved.

I love the dry cuddle up to it heat from the pellet burners

Tru Dat...I took out the "you know what" blower on Friday to start it up and hose it down. I left it out to dry and then lube it/change the oil next but we got rain all day Saturday and this morning its all iced up after quick temp drop. Its sitting in the sun so it should thaw out and make it to the garage today.

Man these 4 days went quick. Chillin today with a few brews after lunch.

Nice and sunny and supposed to hit near 50. Wish I had the carb kit, I'd slap the blower back together.

Beautiful day here in cheeseland. Building a shed where the dog kennel used to reside.

He's closely watching the hunters incringing on his property. I counted 5 at one point this morning.

eta: its the last day of the nine day gun deer season so there are some desperate fellas still trying.

When my roof was being done 2 weeks ago, my buddy has his dog with him daily who would go into the woods. I advised putting some orange on him and he said "well, that would be a pretty small deer". I replied that unfortunately some shoot first, think second.....

Made the last run of the year up to Bay-haven in Cornish today for a load of fried seafood.. Next outing will likely be up to Naples for the last run of the year to Brays for a sausage platter. I'm full of Tuckerman's ale and ready for a nap.
