That is awesome. Allows air flow and keeps them all contained.

Don't remember what I did with them last year, but this year I'm putting the stackable ones on the fire pit rack and the rest get saved for the 4ft fire ring on the hill. I fill the ring up with splitting debris and throw the gnarly stuff on top along with the doted logs when it's ready to burn. Makes a nice fire.

    Stacked by the fire pit
Sometimes I bring in some for a 1 off summer fire to take the chill off.

Pile them up on a pallet and then the first thing I burn. I have maybe a couple more days worth left.

Put them on top of the stacks. Use them for cooking wood....fire pit...or to start the burning season...whichever comes first.

Welcome to FHC, Life In Farmland. Your videos are really spot on!
Uglies here get dried in ugly boxes, then most make BTU's in the stove. They often carry us a month or two into burn season.

Burn some of them in the pit, use quite a few to hold my top covering and will burn a few in the stove. Also maybe not the most productive but since I am several years ahead I just leave some of them right in the woods rather than even dragging them home.

Your uglies look as good as most of my wood. Of course feeding the Hardy OWB I'm not very picky. If it fits it makes BTU's.

Wow I need to improve my handiwork - your uglies are my beauties. I won't be posting pics of my uglies. Lets just say I could use a lot of those bins.
