LOL, Nope. Everyone brings something. I just counted 40 and stopped. 6 more just walked in. I had to stop eating. The temp in the house went up from so many people! Had to open a window.

Made peanut butter cookies (from scratch) for my father in law, apple turnovers (from a box) for us, then went out with our little flock of four dogs for a walk in the snow.

I was thinking I should probably sample one or two or ten of those cookies. Don't want to give him a bad batch of cookies. :)

Went to the Macy's parade with my kids today to see my wife working a balloon. (The pirate). Roped off and complimentary bleacher seat tickets on Central Park South made it real easy. No squashed mass of humans. No being packed in like a sardine.

But the entertainment did cost. I put my car in a garage on 61+Madison and noticed that it cost $8 a day to park a bike, interesting I never saw that before. (10 spots available). I didn't look at the rest of the rates after that. I go to get my car back 4.5 hours later and it was $72.

Crappy night of sleep. Bolted awake @ 2 a.m. realizing power was off. Looked out and street light was on as well as lights across the street. Called the emergency hydro# and found out they had no reports. They had me go out and check the meter which was off. Said they would have a trouble crew respond. Thought it might be a bad transformer. Finally fell back asleep and got jolyed awake @ 4:16 when the power came back on. Rottiman is grumpy this a.m. due to improper sleep. Old people need their rest. Have med apt drives all day on top of the artic snap-down cold front which is supposed to hit this morning with high winds, rain turning to freezing rain and then snow. Uugh...........gonna be a crappy day.

Definitely not a day to pick up a stray and let it go on your car seat! Hope your lack of rest goes un-noticed once you get busy.
