Canvas Tent and Stove

yep...i think the canvas is breathable enough to keep that low. the manufacturer said you could burn a coleman lantern inside, which is a bonus. i love my colemans

 

I'm sure it will be good experiences down the road. My 2 buddies and hunted moose out of one way up north every last week in November into December. We had a small airtight and the tent was a 14x16 with 4 foot walls. We cut poles for the ridge and along each wall at 4 foot we rigged it up with poles lashed to the big tripod poles at the ends. Then had made up 4 foot metal poles with spikes in the ends for along the side grommets and tied each one back to a peg in the ground or small trees if they were there. Had a HD tarp for the floor. Over the years cinders burned holes around the stove. Still got it holes and all. It took us a day to get it all set up and scrounge up some dry larch, pine/spruce and split and pile it. It was always winter by then up that far. Hit minus 30 one night that we were bringing a moose out of the bush about a mile down in the toolies. Way too old for that nonsense now. Happy to watch the bird feeder from inside. All the best with your winter family adventures. snow machine and large sleigh may be handy.
