    Still have white chit on the ground, but grass is starting to show again. It's supposed to get back into the 50s later this week with up to an inch of rain. That's not all bad. No need to shovel rain.

    On a brighter note, the American Pellet Company pellets seem to be burning OK. Ash is on par with Pro Pellets, heat is good, and they all appear to be 1/2" or less. The only downside is the amount of fines in the bag. For $205/ton, I can't complain. I'll reserve final judgement once a real cold snap sets in. I snatched a ton of them to top off the stash.

    I'm hoping that El Nino keeps the real cold up north this winter, but the last strong El Nino year brought us some nasty ice storms. I can deal with a couple feet of sn*w, but ice just sucks....

    it has been cold here for the past couple days. So cold I haven't ventured outside except at 4 am to grab a bag of pellets I should have taken care of before going to bed! It is about 30 F here now. I have an appointment this evening if I get showered and dressed. That inch of snow we got Sunday is still sticking to the ground. I was able to empty two more crates of "stuff" Most of it gets donated. I am just amazed by the mass of stuff I managed to surround myself with. So much so that I lost track of what or where or why for so much of it!

    My Roku was acting a little wonky, not sure why but wonky non the less. So I bought one of those powerline ethernet adapters so I could could hard wire the connection. Now, I was very skeptical,and was not expecting anything but probably burning my $30. To my surprise it works fantastic. Perfect performance from the Roku with no disruption in the signal at all.
