I think my favorite movie ever, is Django Unchained. One I watched recently that was awesome is Fury, with Brad Pitt. Unforgiven is also one of my favorites, along with Shawshank Redemption. I'm sure there's more, but those are the ones I can think of right now.

Not sure if I got the categories right, but these are my top 5 I think.

Not sure if the flicks I like fit any one category. Places in the Heart (Sally Field), Shawshank Redemption, 42, The Rookie, As Good as it Gets. Sports and social issues I guess. There was some humor in all of them. I forget the name of it but there was a Robert Redford flick about a Texas prison based on actual events that took place. I've done Christian Prison Ministry so am partial to going beneath the surface of the reality of prisons. One of my best friends lives in Michigan and was down for 31 years and was rescued by the Lord. Amazing man and friend and been out 10 years and active in his church and in prison ministry now. 3 of the 5 and the Redford flick are based on actually events in the story lines. Nothing like a good movie.

Haven't seen it for a while, but my favorite movie is The Great Escape. Look at the cast of characters - Bronson, McQueen, Garner, Coburn, etc, how could it not be great?

A good one for a comedy even though it is a musical is paint your wagon... Clint Eastwood and Lee Marvin as lead actors in a musical that's
