Online ammo sites

I just found out from a work friend of mine that Mass LTC holders can make online ammo purchases to certain companies that will keep your LTC (copy at retailers site) and require a signature at delivery.

I have never really looked into this much because Mass is so strict on ammo and firearms to begin with.
Has anyone really gotten a good deal in bulk with online companies, even after the fees and delivery charges??
After visiting a few sites and figuring the costs, most of them brought me back up towards 23-24c/round. I can get that here and for less.

At $210./case plus delivery and hazmat fees, signature fees etc, it all brings me back to nearly a quarter a round.

Target sports has no shipping fee if you buy a case. I don't buy much factory loaded ammo but they are the cheapest usually. Btw, Loaded ammo has no haz mat fees either.

 

So are you paying hazmat and signature fees to the state of Massachusetts? Target sports USA ships bulk for free.

 

And stay away from freedom munitions....currently they are putting out reloaded ammo that has blown up many a gun if you poke around google.

 

I have bought from freedom munitions many times, and never had an issue. They do sell both new and reman ammo.

I'm unsure how Mass laws affect you, but I've ordered from ammoman.com a couple times. As long as the order is over $100 the shipping is free, and the ammo has shown up on my door here in Ohio the very next day. There's no signature needed here, I come home and the box is sitting by the door.

 

I have ordered from CheaperThanDirt.com but I would not recommend them more because their shipping leaves much to be desired. 1000 rounds of 7.62x39 Tulammo hollow points goes for $229.89, but the shipping to my home is $47.55 as an example. I did business with them because at the time they carried the Federal True Flight and True Ball 12ga shotgun ammunition where locally I can't find any. Two shops recently closed and another quit carrying any kind of ammunition. The next closest place is about 40 miles away.

 

Reload! And never look back.

 

No time...It might turn into a retirement hobby though. 5 years to go..

 

I know for sure Ammo cannot be left on a doorstep in Mass, signature required as far as I know. Which I'm ok with.
I emailed Targetsportsusa.com yesterday and today with no response. I may have to call them on monday to see whats up.

 

Freedom munitions is good to go, I've had a few FTE due to worn extractor once replaced no more problems.

SGAmmo is one of the best places online always a good price may it be lowest but always competitive and great to deal with.
