    A 125 mile drive down to Ottawa to take a client for a medical appt. Right in the heart of the city. Not overly thrilled with going to the city, especially since we will probably departing for home right @ rush hour.......................:hair:

    Well I got some things done today and relaxed for and hour in morning and an hour in the afternoon.

    Ripped out 7 stumps with the backhoe and cleaned/dug the dirt out of the roots with the hoe. Made a big bed of pallets, two thick, and placed the stumps and some brush on it. This should give some air and heat to get it all going when I light it. The pallet bed was about 12x12. It will be a good size fire, lit when we have our next good rain.

    I was also able to keep a different fire going from yesterday and use the grapple to pull out some old logs and stumps and get them going. Lots of feeding the fire with old dead Pine branches to get it going. Lots of damp wood in the brush I'm pulling out. This fire pit has a large area around it that has turned into a mud pit lately because of the rain we've had. But it is good that everything is damp for about 25-30 yards out all the way around the pit.

    All in all an enjoyable day!
