for sale in Seattle for the unbelievable price of only $1200:faint:

Stihl 361 Brand New Saw for Sale
Stihl 361 Brand New Saw for Sale - $1200 (West Seattle)
Selling my BRAND NEW Stihl 361 chainsaw with 25" bar. Saw was purchased in Canada a couple of years ago and all that time has been stored in heated storage while I have been out of the country. This saw has never been used and does not have a scratch on it! The 361 model saw is no longer in production and no longer available from any Stihl store. Any tree serviceman can appreciate the power (more powerful than the new Stihl 362 models) and lightweight versatility of this saw. You cannot buy a better saw for the value. Stihl saws are known to last and last, and you can depend on them to get almost any job you need done. Call or text, and happy sawing.

Yeah, but this saw was bought in Canada, it is not one of those cheap German knockoffs!

Uh oh, my saws aren't stored in a heated enclosure. Will that diminish their value?

That is ripe. There was a guy here in PDX about a year ago that posted and sold a pair of new 361s for $800 each. He sold them both in a few weeks. Cannot say I need another one for that price. I have bought over a dozen of that model saw, and the lowest was $300 in nice used condition, and the most was $550 brand new from the dealers. I bought a half dozen new ones for $500-550. I still have a pair of 361s that I will likely never sell. My favorite saw by far, bar none.

But we cannot get the laser here on the 661 like you can in the EU!

Also the 361 here had a more choked up muffler and a slightly different cylinder, and less power.

I have no idea. But in the last catalog I got, the 661 laser sights were listed as, "Not available in North America".

Thanks, but I have no need for a 661 laser sight. I sold my larger saws, including my 660/066, 460, 440 and a 441. The 361s are the biggest saw that I have now. Though one is modified and has about the same power as a 441.
