    Much too warm for hunting season but nice for not using much firewood. However, the bad part is we buried our best friend today. A sad day indeed but we are happy in that he does not have to suffer any longer as he was beginning to suffer a lot.

    He and I were friends from childhood and he was best man at our wedding over 53 years ago. It is tough losing someone you have loved for so long.
