Headed outside to split and stack here too. Rain for the middle of the week, but that won't stop me from splitting and stacking.
Gotta get this stack of rounds split up before the cold sets in next week.

And turn it into more of this.

52 now, going up to 63. Should stay around 60 for a few days then gradually drop. Supposed to have highs around 40 by next Tuesday. I'm sheltered when I'm splitting and stacking, but if it's cold AND windy, I don't want to be out on the driveway cleaning that stuff up.

We are getting similar weather here. It's easier to clean the mess on the driveway then the grass. Don't like when it's windy while working outdoors

    Looks reaaaaal niiiiice!
You got some clear roofing already, or have to buy some? Do you mean "polycarbonate" or vinyl like?
Just curious as to what you mite pay for it up there?
I put some up, semi permanent, and I'm really liking it!

I have some leftover from when I built my shed. A friend of mine gave me some when I was first started building my shed. It's like vinyl. I like it. It held up well last winter even though I had to brush the snow off from time to time. It let's the sun in which is why I like it. .I think it's about $8 for a sheet

    Looks great,
+ a good sunny location will help.

To get up to 4° today, not good stacking weather . Glad mine is stacked :)

It's so warm today I won't even hunt tonight. We had a high of 65 degrees. Unbelievable for this time of year. Looks like it will get more normal by Thursday and I see highs in the 30's by the weekend. Certainly should be better for hunting then if it isn't too windy.

Thanks bogydave perfect spot for sun and wind, is it warmer for you compared to last year this time? It's been really warm here compare to last year here. It's gonna drop after today. I usually light a fire at night to keep the little ones warm..I'm trying to stack it all by tomorrow for the loads I just got, gotta go get some more this weekend close to home which is a plus...stay warm

I'll be back out there by 6:30 or earlier in the morning. Yesterday I sat from 6:05 until 6:00. Saw 4 bucks and many does. Still waiting for the big one though.
