    That's is what I thought when I saw the pic of the nail. Scotty will turn that into a rustic work of art.

    I have friend who has a small mill, on recycled materials they will use a X-ray type machine to spot any foreign objects before working with the wood.

    I cut into a 3/8" log chain with a saw once.......wrecked a nice new 36" chain.....

    Yep.....and it was in a willow tree that my wife planted.....I was the one that hung the piece of chain in the crotch. Oh.....about 25 years ago. Willows grow really fast. :)

    I just found a piece of wire in mine. Fence wire like 1/16 round strand wire. Was in a big pine split.

    I helped a girl cut up a decent sized Oak just down the lane from my house, and I have never seen so much metal in a tree. Hose hangars, lag bolts, wire, utility insulators, you name it, it was in there. Thrashed 7 chains (all repairable). It was like a tree with braces. :mad:

    Yes, she was very good looking. :drool: :whistle: :rofl: :lol:
