    I have several 041 Supers, as well as several 051's, a couple 075's, and an 076 Super.

    Here's my ported 051 wearing a vintage 42" roller tip bar....

    041's are still a cool classic stihl saw, i restored several a few years back along with a couple 040's (hence my user name) and have since sold them all, this one i miss the most...........:tears: DSCF0004.jpg DSCF0005.jpg

    Beautiful work sir! What do you use as paint, or do you powder coat the parts?

    I'd like to restore a couple to mint condition and keep as display saws.

    just rattle cans........if i remember right i used almond for the off white color it was a close match to the early white and "husk red" from TSC it was a real close match to the early red/orange that was used in the 60' and early 70's, the top air filter covers were NOS stihl, you can tell how close the colors match on the 041av with the "husk" paint.........
