Could da got a V8 in em................. Literally its was stuffed in the lil thing.

I had a fox body 1980. Mine only had the 4 popper with a 4 speed. Boy did I wanna stuff in a V8(a really big one!). But it was great on gas and I sure had fun. 180K when I gave it to a buddies kid for his first ride.
WW I missed this, I had a 1973 right out of high school. What a great little german car. v6 4spd Treated me well. Good on gas but still had power. I miss this one the most. One of the best I owned. I bought a 1978 Ford F150 P/U and had to sell it.

LOVE that color....all the car companies have it, and the best one they offer. My last 2 vehicles have been that.

My biggest complaint about Ford and Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep is the lack of legroom. I haven't had any legroom issues in any of the GM vehicles I've driven or the Toyota's my wife drives.

A buddy has a 2012 Ram 2500 crew cab and I look like I'm ready to give birth when riding in the passenger seat with it all the way back. I can stretch right out in my daily driver (2013 Cruze), granted I turn it into a three seater with the seat all the way back. Jeep Wrangler? May as well stuff me in a sardine can. My boss has a newer Ford Explorer and my knees hit the dash in that.

One thing is certain. Every manufacturers car will break down eventually, and it will never be a convenient time when it happens.

My garage man told me that if you want a vehicle that needs a garage visit less than most, get a Toyota.

Midsized AWD = $$$. I think thats why many have chose Subaru. I'm stuck really, Looking at these and not wanting to break the bank or spend all the kids collage tuition. So in a few months I'll be testing the rav 4 - Subaru Impreza/Legacy - Nissan Rogue - Maybe the Ford Escape? The Ford has a 1.6L turbo or a 2.0L turbo with the AWD package...... Not wanting a turbo or the associated headaches. Looks like the 2.5L is only in the FWD's. So most likely I won't get the Ford.

Looking at <2 year old with under 25K. All look to be in the $20K range. So if there is one I missed(besides any GM or Chysler? Lemme know!!
