That is a nice shot schlot. A good looking yard and as always, stacks of wood make it even better.

Oh im sure he made it out fine. No ambulance ever arrived. We were about 6 miles out when we first noticed the smoke. I high tailed it to the area, found it immediately of course.
We were there only about 3 or 4 minutes before the first fire truck arrived.

It was on fire for a good 12-15 minutes before it started to receive any water.
Started a little field fire up also.

Shortly after the flames were knocked down off the Tractor, we turned around and headed home.

After doing a few things on the to do list the last couple of days, I'll split some of my neighbors firewood (tomorrow) he's burning this year and then maybe on Tuesday I can start work on that downed Sugar Maple.

I would love to have a vista, but none here. If I walk up to the top of the hill, I can see for miles, but here it is all trees. Peaceful.

Well I worked on my old ford tractor today. There was a hydraulic leak coming from one of the seals for the brake shaft that goes thru the rear diff housing. Got the clutch and brake pedals off the shaft and started to slide the shaft out only to find it was hitting on the frame for the loader. So had to take the whole loader loose and drop it down. Well got the seals in the shaft in and the loader back on. Will finish up the rest later. I felt pretty good about so far.

I think we've had enough rain for a bit here, 3"+ Friday night, steady light rain all day Saturday started to move out to with 15+mph winds out the east all day - felt raw outside.
Still misting and drizzling on/off all day

I was actually there before the service truck arrived, he came zooming from across the field though, he must of been doing a good 40-50mph.
