    Politics.:picard:Not worth it my friend. Come on back. We all get ticked off from time to time. I'm a registered democrat here in this great country of the USA. But far from the far left liberal. More moderate I guess. I respect everyone's views. I am probably one of the very few democrats on this forum. And I knew that when I joined. But I came over here because this place is not about that. This place is about firewood, chainsaws, stoves, milling, tractors, food, and good people! End of story.

    Politics?................He$$, I could care less @ the end of the day about politics. They are ALL lying thieves. I have been playing all week long with this POS laptop which has been to the computer shop upteen times because it continually has been locking up time after time after times. The computer experts have played and played and now it seems better. I am too stupid to figure out how to fix it and for a while, I thought they were too. We'll see...............................

    Such a shame. Christmas in November.
    When I was still using Winders, and if there was a big enough problem, I'd just make sure I had all my stuff saved and wipe the drive. Reload the OS, drivers, programs, all the updates. What a PITA.
    Linux is da bomb.:whistle:

    I've never seen Linux... Heard of it, but that's it. Can you throw up a screenshot of what your "desktop" looks like or does it appear sort of like winders?
    rottiman, was the "English" thing about what Linux actually is?

    Linux............isn't he a Peanut's character????......:rofl: :lol: The "English" thing was about the fact that all that computerese that those knowledgeable in the operation of these "gad dang" devices always start talkin' goes right over the top of this ol' red necks head. Basically, I know how to turn it on and turn it off. Beyond that, it's all "Greek" to me...........................:faint:
