Finally got a year ahead today. Wood for 2016/2017 is stacked.

And now on to wood for 2017/2018. A hoarders work is never done.

I came home just in time to catch my neighbor chucking a pool cover earlier in the week. Perfect size to cover 2 stacks.

I was reluctantly about to order some tarps when I scored the pool cover. As my 7 fingered friend always says-if it's free it's for me.

I was looking for some pool covers on Craigslist, to cover the wood, I found some, some where too muchmuch, some where too far awayaway, the cheap ones got snatched up before I could get them, haven't looked for a while

Thanks! It does feel good to have it done and covered. Hopefully we don't get buried in snow this winter and I can get some more done before spring.

Yes, I did skid and stack them with that tractor but they didn't have to go far. I cleared a bit of land to put in a vegetable garden and a good portion of the wood is from that. I stacked some of it off the ground in logs so it's not rotting before I can get to it.
