I found it! I found a Kodiak Insert I'm going to make into my next smoker!!! As some of you know, #5 has been dying a slow death this past year and the bottom is getting ready to fall out. I found a Kodiak insert and it's mine!!! or will be after 530… Pics to follow tonight "NO" I wasn't going to do this to a Fisher!, I know what some of you were thinking
It'll be a slow process at first, acquiring everything I need, Old #5 has served me well! It's been back there for about 6 years now and as much as we cook on it, the bottom is just ready to go. I've already patched it and new lower expanded metal for the charcoal but it's just time… . Here is the new "used" Kodiak! It's a BEAST! and weighs as much as a Locomotive! "almost" dam it's heavy even with the fire bricks out, So It begins … I'm hoping to get Thanksgiving out of #5, thats where dinner has been cooked"every year"
