One of the main lift cylinders for my Rolloff truck. Checked a couple dealers in NY and OH yesterday and the no luck. Only one that carried one was the U.S. Headquarters in Grand Rapids.
About 4am that wind that Zap is talking about came through here. The rain against the hotel window sounded like hail stones but was just wind driven rain . Didn't last long.

    Same here Woodwidow.
Rained all night, and very windy. Just came in from taking the dogs out. Fairly brisk wind gusts.
Just a little cool in here, so I made fire first. It's getting a little toasty in here. Should be good the rest of the day.
Since the weather's so crummy, I'll probably do our big shopping trip. Can't do much outside.
    How was your walk?

We didn't dress warm enough so had to cut it short. Although it is 46 F, the wind just sucks the heat out of you. My hands are still trying to warm up. I enjoy walking in the wind when I am warm enough. It is hard on the dogs though. Cricket elected to stay home in the warm. With no fur on her belly and she doesn't enjoy wearing her T shirt, she would rather forgo the walk. We did see four deer in the grocery store parking lot downtown. they were walking through town towards our central treed area. Really glad Shadow's leash is strong or she would have been gone like a flash.

    Oh yeah.
On the first walk this morning, I made the mistake of not putting on a jacket. :picard: I'm glad I made a fire.
The Dachsy (Big Boy) just woke up, so he, Casper, and I took another walk. That's either 3....or 4 so far. I lose track as the day wears on.:D

Thanks! And yes I do. That is the area behind the house I have been working on for a place for her future horses. Hopefully build the barn next summer and get two horses in the fall. I hope to plant grass in the spring and that should give it time to get established.

Trampoline was blown across the yard again yesterday..... I posted that my husband needed ski goggles to split wood in high winds to keep the sand/snow out of his eyes, not sure they believed me

Hot toddy? Sore throat and cough..... Water cognac and lemon? Would coffee work? And no whiskey in the house.

Hot water, lemon and honey might work. Google Hot Rum toddy?

A few splits of good seasoned maple ablaze, listening to tales of Lake Superior ship wrecks for a bit before calling it day for an early morning.

    Night all.
