Filled the porch with one row of soft maple the a row of ash then a row of soft maple and walnut. It is 6 foot long and stacked over 5 foot tall. Then as I burn it is refilled every Sat. till the first Of Feb. Makes mama happy when porch is full. At the bottom right is fire starters, pallets cut and split. Then I keep the other half of box filled with shorty's for her to burn.

That's the best place for it! I can fit a little over a cord on my porch - about 10' from the stove.

Nice work! I still gotta get mine stacked up. I still have some more leaves to rake too though. Now I want to stack wood though! :loco:  Thanks!

Yes we do it this way every year. I refill on Sat. OR if bad weather is coming and I can add another row if needed and go taller. Before someone says anything about weight -when I built it I added 4x4 posts in the ground in cement. The porch is 6 x 14 and it has 3 rows of extra support with the 4x4's bolted and screwed to treated 2x8.

Yes it is and it isn't far from the stove, about 2 feet through the right wall, or about 10 feet from door of stove.
