    Maybe the government can bail them out.....by paying them not to grow mashmallows. Or giving them a tax break to grow mini-wennies instead!

    It is a real travesty around here. All of our marshmallow farmers are going to suffer great losses this year! Ive already seen a couple family's go out of business because of this and the rest in the area are not sure if they will be able to make it either. The worst part is that nobody is helping them instead of helping our marshmallow farmers find a way to survive the government has just ignored them and is now importing mass quantities of marshmallows from overseas in order to meet the growing demand for marshmallows as we move into the fall which is prime time for campfires and smores! DON'T buy foreign marshmallows support American marshmallow farmers!!

    It's global warming. I hear there are so many people using woodstoves for heat, it's affecting the climate in the marshmellow growing belt. The good news is that there was a bumper crop overseas. That should help keep prices down.:loco: :crazy:

    There is also a Cherio shortage which everyone knows are doughnut seeds.
