After replacing all the gaskets that needed replacing and a piece soapstone that was missing. The stove was then professionally painted(yours truley:cool:) rust removed sanded 2 coats from woodstock high temp paint. We had the first fire in her last night:D never going to be the same home again. It amazes me how efficient this stove is.This was a awesome deal and feel that I lucked out its fits like the room was made for it.

    HEY papadave[IMG] pics to come

Also thought I would add while replacing the gasket between stone and door I found the persons name and date of build engrved on the backside of soapstone 4-23-98.Previous owners took great care of it and I have all the original reciepts and literature.

I've found a couple of Fireviews and another Keystone recently.
Maybe it was the other way 'round.
Several BKs, but like I said earlier, those are all the older models w/o glass and they have the drop down door.
Still looking for a BK Princess.

That's my feeling on the Keystone we picked up this summer as well, not quite as good a deal as yours but still a good deal. It amazes me how long this stove burns compared to our old one, I still had plenty of coals for a relight after 12 hours without even trying. In the old Jotul it would have just been cold iron.
