It's been awile .....but happy to get a saw or two coming my way ! This one last night thanks to Old040 ! Very nice lil Husqvarna 242. Never had one...but now I know I've been missing out. Very nice high revver ! And not too bad for bucking up 8 to 10 inchers ! I like it. Light....very handy . Cuts alot like my old Dolmar 350...cept the Husky seems lighter . Thanks again old040
Nice saw! My first Husky was a 238se but I always lusted for one of those 242xp's Nice saw! Looking good on that Ash!
Thanks . Still have the 590 Timberwolf. My ex girlfriend bought the 271T off me to help me out a few months ago.
Indeed....but I have a third coming ...one that a fellow member was gracious enough to send me back !! Then that's it for awile. But hopefully time will turn things better. I miss this stuff.
glad to see the old gal do'n what it should be do'n, lay'n down the firewood!!..........enjoy!!...............:stacke:......................
Great limbers indeed ! Also good at bucking up smaller stuff. Saw is so light and handy.....extends the amount of time one can spend in the woods. And on a nice fall day like that......I'll take it
Agreed, on all counts. I was thinking about the ideal 2 Series three saw plan.......242.....262.....288...
We know 'Fuzz will love to be back up to three saws... Buuuuut.... That means someone else is down one saw..... But hey, a two saw plan is still gooder!
HoneyFuzz since you have a 40cc Husqvarna, and a 60cc Echo, I think it would be best to keep your future three saw plan eclectic, and add a Dolmar 7900 for varieties sake.
I still have a 394 that I'm not sure if I'm going to keep, or sell..........................that would round out the three saw plan..............
