Got a call a couple days ago from the homeowner that gave me the mulberry. His neighbor was taking down a blue spruce and asked if I still wanted it. Went over this morning, cut up the trunk for him and started loading. I also noticed a pile of ash by his small wood stack (fireplace) and made the comment on how good it is.
This is what I ended up with. Forgot to get a good picture of the truck load so I took some pictures after we split it all. There is still more waiting to be picked up, a smaller load, so I told him I would come get it when I bring him a load of good split seasoned wood as a thank you gift. In the spring he is taking down another pine along with a pine across the street that I will get it. On top of that, he is taking down some oaks and a big walnut and I should get all of that.

What kind of snake is that? I could use a few rat snakes in my yard, the digging critter are driving me bonkers this year. Nice score!

Nice score and great weekend production. Looks like a nice week coming up to get some work done. Unfortunately I won't get to play with my wood, got a foundation to repair. It's always something. All good though, as long as I'm outside and being productive I'm happy.

A very small wood snake. Picked it up and petted it. Didn't mean to post it, just got mixed in.
