My neighbor must have heard me running my saw the other day, because sure enough as soon as I shot it off I heard his atv headed up my driveway. Told me about a large amount of down and standing dead oak that was left in his lot by his brother in law. Why he left behind white oak I have no idea, anyway long story short he lent me his atv and a trailer and said have at it! Anything on his property that's down or standing dead I'm free to take. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of the standing dead white oak that was hung up, a good 15 foot tree about 16 inches across at the base. Anyway I'm more or less free to cut there when I please now so with the weather being the way it is the next week I plan to run another 2 gallons through the old husqy.
