Absolutely pouring rain here. So we sat in front of the big screen (living window) and watched the fireworks downtown. Rain didn't seem to stop them.

It is amazing how much concrete dust is on this thing. I have pulled the muff already and the piston looks good. But I want to split the case on it so everything will get a thorough inspection.

No wind here, just got done raining. We've gotten quite a bit of rain the past 2 days. Hadnt rained in a long time before then though. It was needed indeed.

I wonder how it looks from the intake side? (Not too horrible if it runs still...) demo saws are a little bit of a different animal than a chainsaw.

Good luck and have fun rebuilding that one! Keeping it or selling?

I will probably keep it. I don't get one of these dropped in my lap very often. These saws are really expensive brand new and I bet I will have less then 300 in it when I am done. Tomorrow I will pull the clutch and flywheel off. I have it all separated from the fuel tank already.

The saw would start and run ok but I can feel the roughness in the bearings when I turn it over by hand. No oiler on these saws.

Was really hoping my back would feel somewhat better today....... For the last week I have barely been able to sit without it going into spasms. I am fine standing or laying but can't sit or bend.

I blew leaves for 3.5 hours yesterday and then it stormed last night and blew down a ton more and then rained so I am back to having a mess albeit less of one than if I hadn't blown leaves yesterday.

I mowed leaves yesterday and it rained last night. My pear trees and pin oak are still pretty loaded with leaves.

Saturday started at 5:30am. My daughter had softball practice at 7:30 and it's an hour and ten minute ride. Picked up one of the other girls, grabbed bagels and made it there by 7:15. My daughter is still in a boot from breaking her foot (talus bone), but the coach wants her there to do what she can and help where she can. Which I completely agree with.

After that, the errands started. I picked up a 100lb roller from the local rental store to put in the Earthworks vinyl planking in my sons room. Scheduled for today. Picked up a new tape measure as my son broke one of my tape measures and I broke the tip on my other one. Needed that to measure the flu for the new chimney brush.

With the move of the wood stove from our now bedroom to the living room imminent, I cleaned the old chimney. Picked up a new 8"X12" brush and three more poles. Amazingly after a good 8 years or more, the chimney was not that bad. It ended up being a bucket and a 1/4. Sorry no pictures. You'll just have to take my word.

Now today it's raining, but I have plenty to do indoors. Flooring is first up. That should only take and hour to two hours. With that done, we need to move some bureaus around as part of the bedroom move from a couple of weeks ago. Moving them and the clothes around should finish out the day. If the weather gets any better, my son and I will try to work on the rabbit hutch.

Need to finish the rabbit hutch so I move them and take down 4 cherry trees right by where they are located now. My garden is just behind the current rabbit hutch, and the cherry trees block too much sun. We are going to add 3 new 4X4 boxes this fall/winter for next years growing season.

Time to get the day started.
